The court has decided to extend Sanam Javed physical remand further
Sanam Javed – The session court in Lahore has extended the physical remand of PTI activist Sanam Javed. The court heard the case related to the burning of the office of Muslim League (N) against Sanam Javed. After completing the initial 2-day physical remand, the police requested an extension for further investigation.
The Model Town police station informed the court that more investigation is needed from Sanam Javed, and they requested an extension of the accused physical remand. Despite opposition from Sanam Javed lawyer, the court reserved the decision and later extended the physical remand by one day.
It worth noting that the case against Sanam Javed for burning the office of Muslim League (N) has been registered in the Model Town police station. Sanam Javed had previously submitted nomination papers against Pakistan Muslim League (N) chief organizer Maryam Nawaz from National Assembly constituency NA-119 in Lahore, but the nomination was rejected.
