Osman is chosen as the tribe’s new leader, and everyone is overjoyed. Flatyos poisons Bala in order to escape. Osman discovers that Dundar rigged the election and secretly communicated with Nikola. Meanwhile, the Pope’s spies, disguised as merchants, arrive on the plain and begin gathering intelligence. Osman wishes to meet with the Turkish Beys and invites them to Sogut, but Flatyos murders some of those who go to the meeting. Osman becomes enraged by the situation and decides to seize Inegol.

Dundar continues to plot his ascension to tribe leader, and even seeks assistance from the Pope’s spies. Nikola attacks Osman with new troops from Constantinople but is defeated. To exact revenge, Nikola raises a new crusader army and kidnaps Savci’s son. Goktug, who was exiled as a result of Osman’s decision, goes to see Nikola with Targun. Nikola believes Goktug wishes to exact revenge on Osman and forms an alliance with him. Bayhoca is saved by Osman.

Following Goktug, Nikola forms an alliance with Dundar and declares his intention to destroy Osman. Targun launches an attack on the plain and seizes Osman’s documents. Meanwhile, Malhun and her soldiers arrive to support Osman, forcing Nikola to reconsider his plans. Targun dies as a result of Malhun’s actions, but Bala is bothered by her. Osman searches for the Pope’s spies and grants Malhun land for her tribe to live on.

Osman attacks Nikola, but the attack injures Bayhoca. Savci wishes to assist his son. Togay, Geyhatu’s new commander, arrives in the border region, altering the entire balance of power. Malhun realises there is a traitor during his brief stay in the plain and attempts to warn Osman. Bayhoca dies soon after from the wound he received during the war. Osman promises to avenge his nephew. Pope’s spies meet with Togay and promise to assist him in eliminating Osman.

Togay attacks Osman’s meeting and injures Umur using the information he obtained from the spies. The other Beys’ faith in Osman is shaken as a result of this situation. Malhun attempts to avenge her father by attacking Togay, but fails. Nikola arrives in Constantinople and attacks Sogut right away. Osman and Savci search for the traitor in the plain. Cerkutay declares that he will no longer work for the Mongols and begins conversing with Bamsi.

Nikola offers Umur a trade in exchange for leaving Osman alone. Umur accepts this in order to make money and attack Inegol at the same time. Togay attacks and kills Abdurrahman while Osman is telling Umur not to trade with the Byzantines. Osman becomes enraged at this situation and declares that he will exact vengeance on all martyrs. After a long time, Osman discovers that his uncle Dundar is a traitor and attempts to apprehend him. Dundar seeks Nikola’s assistance in order to save his life. Osman quickly apprehends the Pope’s spies and employs them to get Dundar out of the castle.

Osman dispatches the spies first. Osman informs Dundar that he will be executed the following morning. Dundar requests that Osman execute him and dies in front of everyone. Togay defies the governor’s order to assassinate Osman and becomes a rebel. The Emperor’s son contacts Nikola and informs him that he has one more chance. Nikola develops an attack strategy with a Macedonian commander. Osman marries Malhun to fulfil his father’s wish for an heir apparent.

Malhun gives birth to a baby boy soon after. Osman and Nikola begin their final battle.
