As a result of a politically driven statement they released shortly after the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari’s decision, PMLN supporters across the nation have vowed to boycott “Careem.”
The oath given to the Punjab cabinet and the appointments made by Hamza Shahbaz were both deemed “null and void” by the highest court.
Just after Hamza was fired as CM, Careem’s official account shared the message, “Captain is ready to escort you home.”
To maintain Careem’s rating, PML-N supporters in Pakistan are disabling and boycotting the app, while PTI supporters are downloading it.
Additionally, the Twitter trending topic #boycottCareem has grown in popularity.
However, the business is well known for using societal trends to its advantage, and after the SC decision, they did it once more. However, this time, their marketing staff made a mistake. They adopted politically neutral-sounding slogans that divided their user base for the different parties by making them more relevant to their user base.
On the other hand, Careem is also receiving support and positive evaluations from the public.
