Qatar Airways Boycott Trend on Twitter After Blasphemy Against the Holy Prophet

Qatar and several other Islamic countries have condemned India in response to BJP leaders Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal’s remarks about Prophet Muhammad. The party took action against the suspending Sharma and expelling Jindal from the party.

Kuwait, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE, Jordan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Maldives, Libya, and Indonesia have all condemned the BJP leaders’ remarks, with many demanding public apologies.

Several Arab countries boycotted Indian products as a result of the controversy. Qatar summoned India’s ambassador in response to Sharma’s remarks about Prophet Muhammad. In a statement, the Indian embassy in Doha dismissed Sharma’s remarks as the work of “fringe elements.”

Many people on Twitter stated that they would not fly with Qatar Airways. Others said they had never used the airline for international travel but would boycott it in the future.
