According to the unofficial and unconfirmed results of the cantonal elections, the PTI emerged as the biggest winner in the whole country, while the PML-N came in second.

PTI won 63 places and PML-N 59 places from all over the country.

Candidates who won the elections as independent candidates won a total of 52 seats.

Among other opposition parties, PPP 17, Jamaat-e-Islami 7 and Awami National Party 2 won.

Of the allied parties, MQM won 10, while the Balochistan Awami Party secured two parties.

The PTI won the most places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 18 – 28 in Punjab, 14 in Sindh and three in Baluchistan.

The PML-N won 51 seats in Punjab, only five in the KP, three in Sindh and none in Balochistan.

Surprisingly, the PPP failed to beat the PTI in Sindh, instead closing in on them for 14 seats. The other three places were won by the KP, ie none in Punjab or Baluchistan.

Independent candidates scored 32 points in Punjab. They provided nine in the KP, seven in Sindh and four in Baluchistan.

MQM won all 10 seats in Sindh, JI won five in Sindh and two in Punjab.

The ANP won two seats in the KP and the BAP won two seats in Baluchistan.

In Sunday’s polls, 684 independent candidates from across the country were running, while 876 candidates from political parties were running.

The largest number of candidates was 183 from the PTI, 144 from the PML-N, 113 from the PPP, 104 from the Jamaat-e-Islami, 42 from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, and 35 from the Pak Sarzamin Party. , 34 candidates from PML-Q and 25 candidates from JUI-F.

In addition, 83 banned Pakistani candidates Tehreek-e-Labbaik ran in the elections.

Of the candidates running for 219 constituencies on 42 cantonal boards, seven have now been elected unopposed. Therefore, the competition was held for 212 places.

In addition, there was no competition in the four chambers of Kamran, one chamber of Rawalpindi and one chamber of Pano Agil.

The voting process started at 8 am and lasted until 5 am. Voters inside the polling station were able to cast their ballots despite the end of the voting period. The doors were closed for those queuing outside.
